In 2018 after spending weeks trying to find management software or systems I discovered a Fastcap Tour Video that introduced simple version of Lean Manufacturing. I saw a wonderful smooth running work place with engaged employees and wanted that for my own factory! So I quickly read Paul Akers book 2 Second Lean! From there on we have been making small improvements every day!

I have a team of around 20 employees and we manufacture and ship 1000s of products per year. Each and every day we 3S (Sweep – Sort – Standardise) our work place and make daily improvements to make the job easier and increase quality of the product for our customers.

I hope that seeing what we do will hope kickstart your own 2-Second Lean journey and help create a continuous improvement culture!

Our Lean Improvement Videos

If you need some quick inspiration for Lean Improvements, we have over 650 daily improvement videos!

In each video, we compile the previous day’s improvements and show them off to all of our staff in the morning meeting.

With roughly 5-10 improvements per video, there’s probably over 5000 improvements to be seen!

2-Second Lean Award

We were absolutely delighted to have recently received an award for our efforts in 2-Second Lean.

We received a certificate from Paul Akers to certify that we have been willing and able to successfully implement 2-Second Lean in our company. The certificate was awarded to our MD, Jack Bussey, and celebrates excellence within the Lean community.
